A few updates...

Now that we are under the 10-week mark to the launch of the trip of a lifetime, the Eurocrew has some more news and updates to share with anyone who cares to follow. First, we are pleased to announce that the former “Eurocrew plus two” has now become “Eurocrew plus three!” Hector Sepulveda will now be joining us for our nights in Monte Carlo and our time in Switzerland. He will be flying in with Tom and will be a part an amazing couple of days!

On a sad note, the Eurocrew disappointed to tell you that we are down to three. Tim has decided to pursue some educational endeavors, which would interfere with the trip, and has wisely decided to follow his goals for education and work. We are very sad that he will not be joining us on the trip, but we are happy that he has decided to invest in his future. He will be missed greatly!

On a brighter note, the Eurocrew had nailed down our lodging plans for London. As previously noted, our Grandma has graciously given us 5 nights in a London Marriott of our choice as a Christmas gift. The choice has been made, and will be spending our nights in London in the London Marriott County Hall, located within walking distance of the London Eye and Big Ben.

Another bit of exciting news is our hotel has been booked for our time in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Thanks to the kindness of Tom, we will be staying in the Fairmont Monte Carlo for two nights.

We know what you are thinking, and don’t worry, there will be many nights spent in not-so-nice hostels as well. It is just more exciting to tell you about the few nice places we will be staying! Thanks again to our Grandma and Tom for the gracious gifts they have contributed to this trip. Check back soon for more updates!

Eurocrew plus two!!!

The Eurocrew is pleased to announce that we will be having two new members join us for part of our trip. Our Uncle Tommy (or Tom) and Uncle Robert (or Robert) will be flying over to Europe and meeting us for a few days of adventure.

Tom will be flying into Milan, Italy on June 12, where he will then take a train into Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Eurocrew will meet with him there for a one-night stay in Monte Carlo, most likely in a hotel slightly nicer than the hostels we will be used to staying in.

From Monte Carlo, the Eurocrew (with it’s new member) will train up into Switzerland, where we will meet up with Robert who will have just arrived in Milan on June 14. Together, the six of us will explore Switzerland together. We are also in the process of adjusting our schedule in Switzerland, and may be taking Zurich out of the schedule. There seems to more in Switzerland that we want to do than we have time for, and going to Zurich just because it is a big city to see does not seem like the wisest choice. Instead, we will be spending most of our time in Interlaken and the surrounding areas. More to come later on our final schedule of destinations. We are sure that with the help and company of our two new members, our time in Switzerland will be truly unforgettable.

Our two new members will then both fly out of Milan, Italy on June 21, as the Eurocrew treks south towards the Cinque Terre and Rome. We couldn’t be more excited to have our honorary Eurocrew members join us for what should be an amazing time in Monaco and Switzerland.

On a side note, Bo will be flying to Dallas for the week of March 7-15, where he and Tommy will be spreading out a giant map of Europe and will be finalizing many of the details of the trip. 52 days doesn’t seem to be enough time to see and do everything the boys have dreamed of, so the unfortunate process of trimming things out must take place. We are currently finalizing our tour of the Normandy beaches, which we hope will be with a group of American veterans who were a part of the invasion of the beaches in 1941, and now live in France giving tours of the famous site.

The planning continues! Please keep us in your prayers. The time for saving money is running out, and we are all counting on a miracle. Talk to you guys soon!
