Now we have 6 extra days that we left here. These are left there for wiggle room. I don’t want us to be stressed or have to rush through anywhere that we want to stay longer. If we want another night somewhere, we are free to do that.

I would add Switzerland into your trip if you can. It is so amazing and beautiful, as you know, Tommy, and the glaciers were awesome to spend the day on. If you use Interlaken as your base, I can recommend the apartment the girls and I stayed in and you can get anywhere from there on the rail.
