We flew into Belfast, Ireland from London and immediately took the two hour train ride south to Dublin. We quickly found an awesome hostel there where we stayed for the next 3 nights. In this hostel we met some really cool people and made friends with people from America, England, Ireland and Australia. In Dublin we toured the Guinness factory as well as the Jameson Whiskey factory. We realize this sounds like we did a lot of drinking in Ireland, but we promise we were very responsible!
Leaving Dublin we took the train back to Belfast to catch our flight to Paris, France. It was some adventure, as we arrived in Paris with no hostel reserved. Our flight landed around 8 PM, which meant we were in a mad scramble to find somewhere to stay that night. We ended up finding a pretty lame hostel with 3 beds, 2 in one room and 1 in a separate room. Sam and Bo took the two beds together and Tommy slept in a different room with strangers. The two girls sleeping as Bo and Sam walked in the room were quite surprised to see us! It was interesting to say the least. The next morning we packed up and headed to a better hostel that had room for us, and happened to be within walking distance to the Louvre.
During our first day of touring in Paris we saw the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, climbed (literally) the Eiffel Tower, and went to Sacre Cour. It was a busy day. The next day we toured Versaille. We have video and pictures of all of these events we will post sometime soon. The Eurocrew did not love Paris and were anxious to move on, so after our second day of touring we headed to the train station and took the 7:45PM train our of Paris headed towards Madrid. That is where we currently are. We just arrived and are waiting to get into our rooms at the hostel so we can get cleaned up and ready to head out and see what this city has to offer!
We are all doing well. Health is decent (Bo has been fighting a small cold), spirits are high. Tommy has done a great job planning the details of the trip and all(most) has gone according to plan. We are currently experiencing a slight "hiccup" with our finances, in that the money we were hoping to find in our bank account for the next two weeks is currently not there. Once people in America wake up we are hoping to get those "details" straightened out. One other issue we are currently facing is that on the metro ride to the Madrid hostel Sam had his wallet stolen out of his back pocket. We are now in the process of having all of his cards cancelled and are working hard on making due with the little money we have until we can get all of this handled. Please keep praying for us and checking back for blog posts. We will do our best to keep everyone in the loop! Thanks guys! Love all of you.

Glad to hear you are safe in Spain.
Sam!!! No wallet's in the pockets when your traveling internationally... Oh well, hope you didn't loose too much.
Love you guys, can't wait to see you.
FYI - I put the Euro Dad's train schedule on the previous post.
PHEW! I was worried about you guys! Ok so we're in Madrid. That's awesome - never been. Can't wait to see the footage. Sam, that sucks about your wallet, hope it wasn't too painful dealing with all of that. How did y'all get on in Dublin? Did y'all hook up with Niamh? Isn't the Guiness Factory awesome?!? Ok bring on the vids. Al and I are anxious to see what y'all have been up to!

Sorry, boys!!! I thought the money was in there - funny thing is Wamu took it out but Capital One has it in cyberspace. I will hand walk cash from one to the other as soon as the banks open tomorrow morning - until then - pray for the kindness of strangers!!!!!
Hey guys - so glad you're well. So sorry, Sam, about your wallet. That sucks. Can't wait for the next update. I miss you all and wish i could be there with you except not in a hostel. How come the moms weren't invited? We could carry your money for you and we'd order room service every day! Hahaha. Have a great week - I love you all!
Oh well...a lesson learned the hard way. but everything is ok, i had my cards cancelled and lost about 80 euros but i have enough to cover in my personal account as soon as i get my new card sent back over. Courtney, we never got a chance to meet up with her because our schedules conflicted with most of what we were doing. hopefully she doesnt think we bailed on her though. love you guys keep praying.
Glad you guys are safe and that you were able to atleast post this written post. That's okay. It's better than no communication at all :-)
I second Uncle Tommy's comments: NO WALLETs, PASSPORTS, Or anything else of consequence anywhere but touching your skin!!!!! You cannot trust that it will be safe.
I totally agree with Aunt DeeDee that if the Mom's were there you could be staying in nice Suites the whole trip. I guess that would negate the whole "backpacking through Europe" thing wouldn't it? LOL!
Love you guys so much and will pray for the financial worries to get straightened out soon.
